Concluding a Great Year
2007 has been a great year of growth, accomplishment, and celebration for AFS.
This year we celebrated our 25th Year of customized problem solving and development of functionally effective products in almost all food categories.
As of October 2007, our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility began using clean, renewable-source solar panels. This environmentally-friendly energy source enables us to contribute to air quality improvement and natural resource conservation. Most importantly, by reducing our energy costs, we can continue to serve our customers more cost-effectively.
Our newly-installed 500 kW solar panels are estimated to conserve nearly 200 million cubic feet of natural gas and improve air quality by decreasing CO2 over 10 million pounds during the lifespan of our system.
As we are entering another New Year, we would like to extend our sincere thanks to all of our valued customers and suppliers. With your support, we have been able to celebrate Twenty Five Years of business.
