AFS offers a complete range of products and flavors for salad dressings and dip preparation.
Increased health consciousness and trends in healthier eating have elevated the status of salads and vegetables from just side dishes to becoming the main course of the meal. As a result the demand for salad dressings and dips has jumped significantly. In response to the growth of the “add-ons” category, AFS now offers complete dressing bases as well as shelf-stable components for dips and dressings in a wide range of flavors.
Dressings
The Chef-Ready® line of dressing bases features shelf-stability, clean flavor, vibrant color and smooth texture. Chef-Ready® flavor profiles range from traditional flavors such as Ranch and Balsamic to exotic Asian profiles including Ginger- Wasabi and Plum-Chili.
AFS also can provide individual components including seasonings, flavors, stabilizers or shelf- stable purees. These include the Season Rite™ brand of seasonings and flavors such as fat-free Ranch and Olive Oil. Purees include Garlic and Ginger.
Dips
AFS French Onion Dip Premix #2 and Chef-Ready® Blue Cheese Dipping Sauce Base #10 offer shelf-stability requiring minimal processing.
Season Rite™ Spinach Artichoke Dip #1 is a cooked alternative for preservative-free product options, with excellent flavor and texture.
Utilizing our proprietary sodium reduction systems, AFS dressings and dips can meet the most rigorous of sodium guidelines. AFS Salt Replacer T#16 is made with salt and potassium chloride, carefully formulated to provide a clean flavor and minimize the bitterness which is common to many salt replacers. Salt Substitute CL T#1 gives the same benefits as the salt-replacers except that they contain no salt. They can also provide sodium reduction by up to 50% even when used with some salt and other salt-containing ingredients in your formula. They are made with natural flavors and are allergen-free.
